"Re: 6309 in a Coco 1/2. Yes, it does run cooler than 6809. I think they are easier/cheaper to find than a 6809, but not by much." -- L. Curtis Boyle
"We made some tries and finally found a way to read from / write to disks just controlling the WD2797 status, instead of depending on the SCS/CTS changes. I added 4 new commands in the Orchestra (0-1-2-3) that allow the user to change the ‘hardware’ slot keeping the ROM fixed as a CoCo. NOW this works fine and we can read any drive in any MPI slot. Not important to CoCo-SDC users, but mandatory for a CoCoDAC-16" -- Pere Serrat
